"I'm Not Upset, I'm Just Lost"

As an artist, I will never feel that i am great or amazing, but that's okay, because I can tell a story.

after taking a 2 month long hiatus from any form of "ComplicatedNess", I went back and re-read the entire thing from start to now.

in that process, I began to realize that it is not turning out to be the story I want to tell.

The frustrating part, is that I have attempted to tell the story in so many different ways, animation gag-a-day comics, novel and graphic novel are just some of the few.

I feel that graphic novel is still the best direction, however, because I have been doing the pages in chronological order, it has been tough to keep the messages and meanings consistent.

at this time, "ComplicatedNess" will be discontinued until I have fully figured out all the messages and symbols I want to put into it.
to those of you who read the comic on a weekly basis, I apologize deeply. I am going to need your support even more through this process.

This does not mean that I am throwing away the idea or forgetting about it; in fact it is exactly the opposite.
The story, the characters and the setting mean so much to me that i want express them in the best way so that everyone (Including Me) can enjoy it and take something from it.

Thank you for all your love and support in my artistic and story telling undertaking, and please understand I am not giving up.
I am simply trying harder.

avatar I'm sorry to see you go on hiatus again, but I completely understand your frustration. (Can't tell you how many comics I've tried to start here and never got past even page 2...)

After all, when you put so much work into something like this, you want it to reflect your beliefs or project a good message to all who read it.

Otherwise, it's just mindless nonsense. It's one of the things that separates a comic from a graphic novel.

I just want to let you know that I am in full support of you and this wonderful creation of yours.

It has meant a lot to me to see someone else bring their own ideas and creativity from their mind to the wide open for all to see.

That in my opinion, takes a lot of courage and confidence. And in you doing so, you inspired me to try to do the same.

I wish you well and I hope you can sort things out. Make it count! ^^
